Project Manager
Clare is the Discovery Programme’s Project Manager, providing operational support across the work activities of the Discovery Programme to ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Clare’s previous post was as Project Manager for the EU funded CHERISH Project. Her background is in nature conservation and the rural economy with previous posts working for Defra as an Agri-environment Adviser, for the Welsh Development Agency on the European Funded LEADER+ project and as Nature Conservation Policy Manager with the Welsh Government; Clare also spent three and half years in Brussels as Personal Assistant to the UK’s Deputy Permanent Representative to the EU, Dame Shan Morgan.
Clare graduated from Aberystwyth University in 1995 with a BSc in Environmental Science, followed by a Postgraduate Diploma in Countryside Management from Bangor University.
