Launch of the CHERISH Project Exhibition: Climate Change and Coastal Heritage during National Heritage Week

An exhibition to highlight the impact of climate change on coastal cultural heritage has been developed by the CHERISH Project. It will be displayed in libraries and other public buildings in the CHERISH Project research areas.
The exhibition will be displayed for the first time on Level 3 of the dlr LexIcon library from 10 August 2021 to 26 September 2021.
In an event for National Heritage Week the exhibition will be launched by An Cathaoirleach of Dun Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council, Lettie McCarthy. There will be an address by An Cathaoirleach Lettie McCarthy, Tom Dowling Chairperson of the board of the Discovery Programme and Sean Cullen, Head of the Marine and Coastal Unit, Geological Survey of Ireland.
The CHERISH Project is funded through the Ireland-Wales 2014-2020 Programme and brings together four partners across two nations: the Discovery Programme: Centre for Archaeology and Innovation Ireland, Geological Survey, Ireland, the Royal Commission on the Ancient and Historical Monuments of Wales and Aberystwyth University: Department of Geography and Earth Sciences.
