New article on the Corca Dhuibhne 3D project

Gary Devlin, surveyor with the Discovery Programme has co-authored a paper with Isabel Bennett and Dr Nora White entitled ‘Helping the stones to speak: the Corca Dhuibhne 3D community project’. It is published in the Journal of the Kerry Archaeological and Historical Society for 2017. The Corca Dhuibhne 3D project is a collaboration between experts based in national academic institutions, a small local museum and a self-selecting community group. The group came together to use new digital technologies to record carvings on ogham stones as well as other man-made marks on stones which date from prehistoric times to the modern period.
