Find out more about the Cherish Project in the Project’s first newsletter.
CHERISH is a joint nation project funded through EU Funds: Ireland Wales Co-operation Programme 2014-2020. The Discovery Programme’s project partners are the Geological Survey of Ireland, the Royal Commission on the Ancient and Historical Monuments of Wales and Aberystwyth University. CHERISH works to raise awareness about climate change and adaption within Irish Sea communities. Coastal cultural heritage is being impacted by accelerated erosional processes and sea level rise. Our heritage is a visible indicator of the impacts of climate change along our coastlines.
