Dr Shirley Markley

Dr Shirley Markley is a Lecturer in Medieval Archaeology, School of Environmental Science and Lecturer in Architecture, Yeats Academy of Arts, Design & Architecture, School of Engineering, Institute of Technology, Sligo. Research interests in historic building construction, medieval and post medieval settlement and community archaeology. She is a member of the Strategic Research Centre: CERIS: Centre for Environmental Research, Innovation and Sustainability. A member of the Institute of Archaeologists of Ireland; Member of the Standing Committee of Archaeology of the Royal Irish Academy; Member of the County Sligo Heritage Forum and Member of the Discovery Programmes Communications Subcommittee.
