Job Vacancy: Communications and Outreach Officer (CLOSED)
The Discovery Programme: Centre for Archaeology Innovation Ireland is seeking candidates for the post of Communications and Outreach Officer.
A unique opportunity to promote and share Ireland’s outstanding archaeology and cultural heritage research
We are seeking a motivated and effective communicator who will take forward the development and delivery of the Discovery Programme’s schedule of outreach, public engagement and communication activities. The successful candidate will be expected to have a good working knowledge of Ireland’s archaeological and built heritage, and be willing to learn more about archaeological research in Ireland. The successful candidate will be instrumental in ensuring the Discovery Programme engages with local communities, building the profile of the organisation, and support the delivery of research materials and information in Irish as well as English.
Nature of Employment: This is a full time permanent appointment (subject to successful completion of a six months probationary period and satisfactory performance in post).
Salary: In the region of €38,215.00-€40,044.00 per annum (pro rata) (Point 5-6 Executive Officer Standard Scale 66240, with annual increments on that scale on satisfactory performance in post)
Current Location: Merchants House, Merchants Quay, D08 K3KD, Ireland.
Reporting to: Chief Executive Officer or their nominee
